In early June, we held the first Creature Cocktail Workshop, an experience created for everyone who enjoys discovering new flavours, learning mixology techniques, and exploring creative ways to prepare cocktails at home.
In a relaxed atmosphere, we gathered a small group of participants at Teresa Rego Studio in Porto for an afternoon dedicated to experimentation, sharing, and, of course, cocktails.
A mixology experience for everyone
The workshop was designed for both curious individuals and cocktail lovers. No prior experience was required, just a willingness to learn and experiment.
The session was led by André Santos, a bartender with several years of experience, who shared some of the fundamentals of mixology, from balancing different flavours to the main techniques used in preparing cocktails.
Throughout the afternoon, each participant had the opportunity to get hands-on with the shaker, learn new techniques, and prepare their own cocktails.
The protagonists: Creature cocktail mixes
During the workshop, we used Creature cocktail mixes, developed to simplify cocktail preparation without compromising quality or flavour.

Each mix combines carefully selected ingredients to create balanced and aromatic cocktails, allowing you to easily recreate bar experiences at home.
In addition to preparing cocktails, there was room to experiment with different combinations, adjust flavours, and understand how small changes can completely transform a drink.
Much more than learning recipes
More than teaching recipes, this workshop aimed to show that preparing a good cocktail can be a simple, creative, and fun experience.
We believe that mixology can also be a way to bring people together, celebrate special moments, and discover new ingredients.
It was precisely this shared atmosphere that made this first edition so special.
Private workshops for groups
Following the success of this first edition, we will continue to organise new experiences.
If you have a group of friends, are planning a birthday, a hen party, a corporate event, or another special occasion, we also organise private cocktail workshops for groups of six or more people, including stag and hen parties.
Each experience is tailored to the group and combines learning, tasting, and social moments, always with Creature cocktail mixes as the starting point.
